In this role, you will work closely with the business and technology teams within Apexus and external partners to understand and document enhancement requests and participate in projects that will require development work. You will work with internal business teams to understand their needs and turn these requirements into specs for the development team to work from. You will also work closely with other internal and external Apexus technical teams to help create new data sources and the processes to support them when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate on VSA project teams when development work will be needed.

  • Manage development team backlogs and help prioritize when tasks are worked on.

  • Create new database objects.

  • Assist with estimation, both cost and duration, of work requests to help project management.

  • Assist development team with QA tasks.

  • Triage any issues that are reported by any customers.

  • Become Subject Matter Expert on Apexus standard business processes such as Membership and PRISM (daily sales data from Distributors).

  • Identify when changes need to be made to standard business processes based on changing conditions with business partners or other market forces.

  • Create and update documentation on processes when necessary.

  • Manage daily audit reports.

  • Participate in Change Management meetings when needed.

  • Monitoring of scheduled processes and assigning support when required.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • SQL Server (or other major database) experience required.

  • Ability to write complex queries as well as create new database objects such as tables, views, and stored procedures.

  • Pharmacy system experience a plus.

  • Experience with the 340B program a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
