Functional Job Duties:
Perform highly diversified duties to maintain various types of equipment including but not limited to HVAC and thermostats, building controls, minor electrical, minor plumbing, lighting, break room equipment, systems furniture, exterior building, parking lot, event set up and break down, adhering to all company Health, Safety and Environment training and standards.
Respond to and perform trouble shooting and repairs prioritizing workorders for efficiency, following up to ensure resolution of issue.
Performs and completes routine inspections on building, property and equipment by established frequency and checklists.
Responsible for scheduling Preventative Maintenance work and inspections with third party vendors working with Facilities Manager for coordination and communication of events.
Coordinate and perform duties in a manner that ensures the running of the business and uptime of equipment.
Utilize the company provided online software portal for work order tickets, opening, accepting, working to document all actions and supporting documentation to complete preventative and reactive maintenance requests.
Performs work at multiple office locations as needed.
Act as priority contact for 3rd party vendors coordination and scheduling of preventative or reactive work requests. Obtain quotes as needed and document all equipment identifying numbers, office location and provide to Facilities Manager for approval.
Responsible for being after hours on call 24/7 point of contact for building critical issues and emergencies.
Responsible for Fire System equipment and all building shut off valve locations at multiple locations.
Responsible for spare parts and consumable supplies inventory.
Partners for success with Facilities Manager, Facilities Specialist, Facilities Coordinator and Lead Building Engineer and Maintenance technicians in all areas of Facilities Management.
Responsible for timely reporting of all building emergencies to Facilities Manager.
Responsible for maintaining equipment and building warranty information, equipment inspection reports, and the upkeep of building and equipment manuals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship , HVAC certification and/or a minimum 5 years’ Facilities maintenance experience.
HVAC experience is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written, and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills and proficient at MS Office programs, such as MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Teams.
Proficiently and regularly enter data, successfully navigating multiple online software programs such as building automation and controls, company expense portal, online workorder portal, company intranet.

Must possess strong leadership, analytical thinking and problem solving. Must be able to effectively communicate whether in person or online and possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with persons inside and outside of the company. Must have the ability to successfully perform job related tasks unsupervised. Must be able to work within a team and with deadlines. Must be able to handle and manage multiple priorities at a time with efficiency. Must be able to process electronic paperwork efficiently and effectively. Must be accountable for success of Facilities metrics, such as time to respond and resolve issues.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to go up and down stairs and climb ladders, regularly access a roof top and lift more than 30#.
Must be able apply company provided appropriate safety PPE as required.
Must not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in company duties.
Must be able to tolerate varying outdoor temperatures and exposures associated with welding and industrial equipment manufacturing environment.
