Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Resource Manager with strong expertise in demand pipeline management, capacity planning, and end-to-end staffing across IT Service Delivery & Project Management operations. The role involves managing resource allocation, optimizing bench utilization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely fulfillment of project staffing needs while maintaining operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 6–12 years of experience in Resource Management / PMO / Workforce Planning
- Experience in IT services, especially IT Infrastructur, Cloud, Cyber Security domains
Key Responsibilities
Resource & Workforce Management - Planning & Allocation
- Manage end-to-end resource lifecycle including demand forecasting, capacity planning, staffing, and deployment for incoming and ongoing projects.
- Perform demand-supply analysis and ensure timely fulfillment of project requirements.
- Allocate resources based on skillsets, availability, and business priorities.
- Ensure optimal bench utilization through internal movement, reskilling, and cross-skilling initiatives
- Track and fulfill resource requests (RRs) across onsite and offshore locations
- Monitor demand-supply gaps and proactively address staffing challenges
Demand Planning & Capacity Optimization
- Validate demand pipelines and forecast workforce requirements
- Align resource allocation with business priorities across IT Infrastructure Projects and Service Delivery operations
- Develop quarterly and long-term workforce strategies in collaboration with leadership
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Talent Acquisition, and Account Teams for demand fulfillment.
- Act as a primary point of contact for staffing across business units and geographies.
- Partner with leadership to drive workforce planning and revenue maximization.
- Act as SPOC for key accounts and coordinate with delivery, recruitment, and practice teams
- Collaborate with HR and external vendors for hiring and onboarding
- Conduct regular governance meetings with stakeholders for demand-supply alignment
Bench & Utilization Management
- Manage bench resources and ensure their transition into billable roles.
- Identify opportunities for internal deployment and minimize unbilled workforce.
- Drive utilization metrics and optimize productivity.
Talent Development & Retention
- Work with competency managers on upskilling, reskilling, and cross-skilling initiatives.
- Facilitate Internal Job Rotation (IJR) programs.
- Implement strategies to retain pre-separation employees and reduce attrition.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and address concerns
- Support skill development through training, reskilling, and cross-training programs
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Global Staffing & Operations
- Support global staffing needs including APAC regions (Malaysia, Singapore).
- Handle onsite resource coordination including visa and immigration processes.
- Manage staffing across multiple domains: Banking, Healthcare, Insurance, Logistics, etc.
Process & Tools
- Use workforce management tools like Oracle Fusion HCM for candidate proposals and requisition creation.
- Maintain accurate data on resource requests, allocations, and job descriptions.
- Contribute to internal systems and applications (e.g., GTD tools).
Reporting & Analytics
- Create dashboards and reports using Excel, and other tools
- Track KPIs such as utilization, fulfillment metrics, attrition, and pipeline health
- Provide actionable insights to leadership for strategic decision-making
Tools & Technologies
- Power BI, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access
- Resource Management Tools (e.g., ORC Fusion, Dashboards)
PMO & Financial Governance
- Manage project compliance, documentation, and reporting
- Oversee billing processes, invoice tracking, and financial reporting
- Handle Statements of Work (SOW), work orders, and timesheet approvals
- Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks and audit requirements
Employee Engagement & HR Support
- Guide employees on career development and project assignments.
