Job DescriptionTom Clancy’s The Division 2 is an online, open world, action shooter RPG, set in a collapsing and fractured Washington, D.C. This rich setting combines a wide variety of beautiful, iconic, and realistic environments in which the player gets to experience the series’ trademark fast-paced action, rich RPG systems and dedication to authenticity in world building.
As a Lead, you would contribute to the development of a skilled and ambitious Animation team working on Tom Clancy’s The Division project. In this role, you will work closely with our other Leads and multidisciplinary developers across our AAA production.
What you'll do
- Providing constructive feedback, mentoring, and coaching a team of Animators
- Ensuring productive workflow and beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring deliverables are completed on time, on specs, and up to quality standards
- Collaborating with other Leads, Directors, and cross-functional teams to advance project quality
What you'll bring
You are a motivated and team-oriented Lead, dedicated to the craft of Animation. You find the team's achievements to be motivating and can supervise a team by providing constructive feedback and support whenever needed. You have a passion for game development and awareness of current trends in the industry.
Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with the following skills and experience:
- Professional experience of supervising and leading a team of Animators
- Several years of professional animation experience, ideally in gameplay
- Previous experiences in the gaming industry
- Proficiency in 3D animation software like Maya and MotionBuilder
- An understanding of character rigging, skinning, and motion capture techniques.
- Ability to learn game engine tools and pipelines quickly.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to coach others.
- Very good English skills (written and spoken)
