Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant as part of the Strategy, Digital & Innovation (SDI) team. This role will support Global Treasury Management Product and Sales teams to understand the drivers of their business and how they can leverage data to drive actions.
In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques, algorithms, or
-
Develop and implement advanced analytical models (clustering, regression, etc...)
-
Conduct in-depth analysis of product portfolios, identifying gaps, overlaps, and cross-selling opportunities.
-
Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate relationships, test hypotheses, and forecast trends.
-
Segment clients and Conduct Association analysis for targeted product recommendations.
-
Develop pricing models/strategies that optimize revenue and competitiveness based on client behavior.
-
Develop ad-hoc reporting to address specific business questions or concerns.
-
Enforce and establish best practices related to data quality and governance.
Required Qualifications:
-
5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
-
4+ years of hands-on programming using SQL
-
3+ years of Python experience
Desired Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of quantitative analysis, statistical methods, data mining and data visualization techniques
-
Proficiency in data mining techniques, including association rule mining and statistical analysis
-
Experience with data visualization tools and reporting dashboards (Tableau or Power BI)

Problem-Solving: Ability to break down issues, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions

Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, write concise reports, and facilitate meetings and workshops
-
Collaboration: Work collaboratively, build relationships, and foster consensus
-
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders. Present analysis findings, recommendations, and project update in clear and compelling formats, tailored to the needs of different audiences

Strong understanding of banking products and services, including Treasury/Transaction Services
