The Opportunity
The Lead Analyst - Security Administration is a senior-level technical role within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This position is responsible for performing and coordinating complex provisioning and de-provisioning tasks, managing access controls across Active Directory domains, and ensuring compliance with security standards. The Lead Analyst serves as an escalation point for junior analysts and plays a key role in maintaining secure and efficient access management operations. This is an individual contributor role.
This is a hybrid remote and office-based role in Sri Lanka, aligning with the local job requirement guidelines. Primary shift: [7:30 PM-3:30 AM SLST, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM CDT] with flexibility. Most work is performed Monday through Friday virtually using collaboration tools and video conferencing. Our team has occasional on-call support.
Responsibilities:
Provisioning & De-Provisioning Access: Executing and overseeing manual provisioning/de-provisioning for applications and AD domains
Advanced Troubleshooting & Escalations Administration: Acting as an escalation point for junior analysts, resolving complex access and security administration issues
Process Improvement & Documentation: Recommending and implementing improvements to manual processes and update SOPs
Collaboration with IAM Leadership: Supporting IAM leadership in audits, compliance reviews, and governance efforts
Training & Mentorship: Providing guidance to junior team members, share best practices, and assist with onboarding
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred; Equivalent work experience may be considered
4-6+ years in Security Administration, IAM, or related roles
Strong experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange (on-prem & online), and manual access provisioning
Proficiency with AD, Exchange, and identity lifecycle management
Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge preferred
Experience in access governance and security compliance
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
