About The Role
As part of our Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS), we are looking for a Lead Accountant to drive high‑quality, compliant, and efficient Record‑To‑Report (RTR) processes across the assigned country or Commercial Area.
This role sits at the core of financial integrity, ensuring accurate statutory and group reporting in line with IFRS, Electrolux Global Finance Policies, and internal control standards. You will play a key role in business partnering, audit coordination, tax accounting, and continuous improvement initiatives, while leading by example within a complex, multicultural shared services environment.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end RTR activities within the GFSS scope, ensuring robust financial oversight, transparent reporting, and strong internal controls. You will act as trusted finance partner to local teams, Group functions, and auditors, while contributing to transformation and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
As Lead Accountant, you will apply strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and analytical thinking to resolve complex accounting matters, support audit processes, and ensure timely and high-quality financial deliverables.
In detail, you will be responsible for:
Financial Oversight & Reporting
Ensuring all accounting and reporting activities within GFSS scope comply with Electrolux Global Finance Policies, Process Standards, and IFRS
Supporting end‑to‑end accounting processes for assigned countries or Commercial Areas
Preparing and reviewing Balance Sheet and P&L analyses, including anomaly reporting
Reviewing group reporting submissions, commentary, and timely delivery
Posting and reviewing complex journal entries such as impairments, accruals, provisions, payroll‑related accounting, incentives, and holiday pay
Managing technical accounting topics including lease accounting and revenue recognition
Reviewing complex balance sheet reconciliations
Stakeholder Management & Audit
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across Group, local finance, and external partners
Coordinating internal and external audits for processes within GFSS scope
Acting as a key contact point for auditors and ensuring timely, accurate information delivery
Controls, Tax & Continuous Improvement
Developing an internal controls compliance mindset, and ensuring GFSS RTR controls are designed and executed effectively
Supporting tax accounting activities accuracy and timely submission including VAT/GST, local taxes, deferred taxes, provisions, reconciliations, and postings (as per SLA)
Translating Group Accounting and Financial Controlling policies into GFSS and BPO execution
Driving improvements to methodologies, tools, and processes at team and department level
Actively identifying efficiency, automation, and quality improvement opportunities across GFSS
Qualifications And Competencies
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
ACCA, CIMA, or local equivalent accounting qualification is an advantage
Minimum 5 years of experience in Record‑To‑Report (RTR)
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and IFRS
Experience in accounting operations, financial analysis, and team leadership
Solid understanding of internal controls, process management, and continuous improvement
Experience in a multinational and/or Shared Services environment is beneficial
SAP and SAP S/4HANA experience is advantageous
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in English is required

Skills Required
