The Role

As our product suite expands, we're seeking a Lawyer to support all business units, particularly focusing on matters initiated by the Sales and Customer Success departments, as well as assisting with procurement. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to enhance legal processes and contribute to AI implementation for legal purposes as we rapidly scale globally.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Tax, Sales, and Customer Success, reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

We are looking for candidates based in Ukraine or Poland.

What You Will Do

• Support activities across all company business units
• Handle standard incoming inquiries from internal and external clients
• Draft medium-complexity agreements with clients and vendors, partially going beyond the specified algorithm
• Develop standard contract templates of average complexity
• Research legislation in multiple jurisdictions
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

What We Look For

• 3+ years of experience in a lawyer role with demonstrated experience in EU and USA legislation
• Proficiency in English business communication (C1 level)
• Familiarity with legal tech tools and using those for optimizing workflows
• Expertise in drafting and revising agreements
• Eagerness to learn with strong analytical capabilities
• Adaptability and initiative in driving processes forward

Nice To Have

• Experience in IT, the Big 4 or Pharmaceutical business
• Deep understanding of Intellectual Property

Our Interview Process

We believe in competency-based interviews combined with work samples and we share clear expectations for each element. Our interview assignments simulate what it’s like to work at iDeals and the type of tasks you’ll tackle. Here are the stages of the interview process for this role:

• Screening call with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (~30 mins)

• Test task (8-10 hours)

• Competency-based interview with the Talent Acquisition Specialist (90 mins)

• Role-play with the Legal Expert (~30 mins)

• Hiring Manager interview (60 mins)
