Job Description:
Our Law Extern is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment that supports The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, its affiliated life insurance companies, its broker dealer (Hornor, Townsend & Kent), its asset managers and registered investment advisors (collectively “the Company”).
You will be part of our Law Department and will provide the opportunity to do discrete research projects which entails a significant amount of time reviewing, and drafting various legal documents, practice guides, and memoranda of law. The Law Externship will introduce law students to the varied and complex legal issues encountered in a corporate legal setting and will enable the chosen intern to take an active role advising corporate stakeholders on significant legal issues. You will gain invaluable experience working in a high tempo and value-oriented team culture.

Required Experience:
• Entry level
Education/Licenses/Professional Designations
• College Degree
• Completion of at least 1 year of an accredited law program and current enrollment in an accredited law program; 2L preferred
