Job Description

The Last Mile Business Development & Analytics team plays a critical role in developing and executing strategies that optimize lead time and costs for last-mile delivery processes and supporting company-wide initiatives (i.e. Tactical Network Plan). This role combines project management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring the last mile aligns with broader business objectives. The manager will work on individual last-mile projects as well as contribute to the design and execution of the company's tactical logistics network, focusing on improving delivery performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key projects that enhance the company's logistics network, aligning with broader business objectives
  • Analyze network data to identify opportunities for improvement in core KPIs such as costs per package and lead time
  • Drive the network planning process (12 months horizon) by running weekly, monthly alignment process with partner teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and contribute to the tactical logistics network design
  • Monitor network performance, identify risks or inefficiencies, and implement solutions to enhance scalability and operational efficiency
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders within and outside the Last Mile organization to drive project success
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize last-mile delivery processes, focusing on lead time and cost reduction

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in business development, project management, or consulting roles
  • Sound understanding of e-commerce logistic processes in general, of e-commerce last mile in detail
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis (intermediate SQL/Python, advanced Excel) and the ability to maintain both a high-level perspective and attention to detail
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects with various senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive work approach
  • Ability to deal with conflicting priorities and requirements and work flexibly within a small team
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, along with proficiency in standard MS Office applications
  • Fluent in English (C1/C2 level), both spoken and written

Skills Required
