Large Action Models (LAM) Expert with strong knowledge in LLMs, NLP and Computer vision.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a PhD (preferred) or equivalent extensive experience in Deep Learning technologies (with Masters) to join the Advanced Technology Lab to build state-of-the-art in multimodal technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), with preference given to candidates with some experience in computer vision and image understanding. The successful candidate will contribute to the end-to-end development of novel algorithms for various applications and domains.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Research and develop novel multimodal LLMs and LAMs (Large Action Model) that can process and generate multiple types of data, such as text, images, and audio.
• Create novel technological breakthroughs by staying at the forefront of AI trends and advancements.
• Collaborate across teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI systems powered by LLMs and agentic frameworks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in multimodal generative AI and contribute to the development of patents and research papers.
• Build software prototypes to demonstrate the capabilities of designed and developed pipeline.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements:

• Master's or Ph.D. (preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant Industry Experience: Ph.D + 4 Years / Masters + 8 Years
• Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision.
• Experience with LLMs, Attention Mechanisms and Multimodal AI.
• Proven track record of papers, journals, and patents in relevant field.

Nice to Have:

- Familiarity with cloud-based computing platforms and large-scale data storage solutions

- Experience with data science and visualization tools such as pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
