What you’ll be responsible for:
- Greet customers courteously while following our procedures and requirements
- Assist with unloading materials
- Sort different metals according to their characteristics
- Inspect customers’ metals
- Identify the correct type of metal for each product and validate its quality
- Weigh metals on the scale
- Enter data into the RECY software
- Operate various types of machinery (forklift)
- Prepare receiving/shipping tickets
- Ensure cleanliness of the premises
- Perform any other related tasks
To join our team:
- You have one (1) to three (3) years of experience in a similar position
- You have knowledge of metal recycling (a major asset)
- You have experience with forklifts (a major asset) – training provided on site
- You are bilingual (an asset)
- You demonstrate safe and professional behavior
- You are versatile and resourceful
- You work well in a team
- You have excellent priority management skills
- You provide outstanding customer service
