Keyera is currently seeking a Labourer for our Fort Saskatchewan South facility. Reporting to the Team Lead, Mechanical and Site Services, this role will provide hands-on maintenance and site support across the facility, including work preparation, mobile equipment operation, site upkeep, warehouse coverage, fleet coordination, drainage support, and general facility support in a plant environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities by assisting facility maintenance teams and third-party contractors with work preparation, materials coordination, and general field support.
Operate mobile equipment, including telehandler, skid steer, man lift, forklift, and other equipment as qualified.
Support building and site maintenance activities, including landscaping, vegetation control, general cleanup, and routine facility support tasks.
Assist with site water drainage and pumping requirements.
Support waste and chemical inventory management activities in accordance with site procedures and safety requirements.
Provide support to the Warehouse Technician and assist with warehouse coverage as required.
Support fleet maintenance coordination, tracking, and related administrative activities.
Use Maximo and other computer systems to support maintenance activities, work tracking, documentation, and records management.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with maintenance teams, contractors, internal customers, and site stakeholders.
Maintain safe, clean, and efficient work areas while supporting Keyera’s Health, Safety, Environment, and Operational Excellence objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures and environmental conditions.
Ability to manually handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
First Aid and H2S certification.
Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
Ability to understand and use computers and CMMS systems, including Maximo.
Ability to manage customer relationships in a positive and professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to maintain focus while completing repetitive tasks.
Previous experience in a similar labourer, roustabout, maintenance support, warehouse, industrial, or plant environment would be considered an asset.
Forklift, skid steer, telehandler, and aerial lift operator certification would be considered an asset.
