SUMMARY
The Laboratory Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory analyses. This position requires active participation in routine laboratory tasks and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform laboratory analyses independently after training.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and calibrate laboratory instruments.
- Carry out sampling in compliance with established procedures.
- Assess the accuracy and reasonableness of analysis results, ensuring customer interests are safeguarded while maintaining laboratory quality standards.
- Adhere to quality assurance protocols and safety regulations set by Saybolt and the Port of Gothenburg.
- Participate in the general operation of research , contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency.
- To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Chemistry or Technology.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian.
- Possession of a valid B Driver’s License.
- Competence in routine analytical procedures and the ability to perform laboratory tasks independently.
