Location: 2501 N. Orange Ave, Suite 50 (Basement), Orlando, FL 32804
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday (11:30am - 8:00pm) and Saturday (7:30am - 4:00pm)
Orders, oversees, and coordinates inventory and stocking supplies for all laboratory campuses. Maintains appropriate, in-date inventory levels of reagents, supplies, and other materials for the laboratory. Maintains clean, safe, efficient stock rooms and other storage areas for reagents, supplies, and other materials in accordance with regulatory agency standards. Performs various material management activities related to laboratory operations as needed. Supports Clinical Laboratories by facilitating vendor support and internal purchasing interactions. Oversees and schedules stock room clerks, couriers, and lab assistants. Assigns activities to couriers and laboratory assistants for specimen pickup throughout the campus. Looks for ways to reduce costs and conserve resources. Maintains good stewardship of ordered supplies. Creates a lean work environment, utilizes first in/first out methods, and maintains safety standards according to regulatory agencies. Performs various support activities to facilitate operation of Clinical Laboratories, including answering the telephone and clerical duties. Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to handle infectious biological specimens, caustics, toxic chemicals and/or irritants appropriately and safely [Required]
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with persons of varied backgrounds in a respectful, effective and professional manner [Required]
• Ability to respond appropriately to buzzers, bells, flashing lights, and pagers [Required]
