We are looking for a Fresher / Entry-level L1 PAM / IAM Security Engineer to support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and administration activities related to Privileged Access Management (PAM), Database Activity Monitoring (DAM), and Identity & Access Management (IAM) in enterprise environments.
The role involves assisting in user access management, privileged account operations, monitoring activities, and basic security support tasks under supervision.
The engineer will work closely with Information Security, SOC, Infrastructure, Application, and IAM teams to ensure smooth execution of identity and access-related processes while following standard SOPs and escalation procedures.
- 0–2 years of experience in IT / IAM / PAM / Security Operations
- Freshers with basic understanding of cybersecurity, networking, or identity concepts are encouraged to apply
PAM (Privileged Access Management)
- Basic exposure or understanding of ARCON PAM
- Awareness of privileged account management concepts
- Password vaulting basics
- Privileged access monitoring concepts
- Basic exposure or awareness of Imperva DAM / Database Security
- Understanding in detail about database security monitoring
Basic understanding of:
- User provisioning and de-provisioning
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Identity lifecycle concepts
- Access management basics
- MFA and SSO fundamentals
- User access governance concepts
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP
- Understanding of user access request workflows
- Basic awareness of incident handling and ticketing systems
- Exposure to IT support / service desk processes (preferred)
- Basic understanding of SIEM monitoring concepts
- Awareness of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge of database security concepts
- Cloud awareness (AWS / Azure – beginner level)
- Exposure to ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools
- ITIL process awareness (incident, request, change management)
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell / Python – optional advantage)
- Monitor PAM, DAM, and IAM dashboards and alerts under supervision
- Support user onboarding, offboarding, and access provisioning activities
- Assist in privileged account management and password vault operations
- Handle access-related tickets and service requests as per SOPs
- Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate issues to L2/L3 teams
- Monitor privileged sessions and access activities under guidance
- Support audit, compliance, and access review processes
- Assist in generating basic operational and access reports
- Coordinate with internal teams and OEM/vendor support when required
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, and runbooks
- Follow security policies, procedures, and change management guidelines
- Support 24/7 rotational shift operations
- Willingness to learn advance IAM, PAM, and cybersecurity technologies
- Basic understanding of IT or cybersecurity concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment
- Interest in identity security and enterprise security operations
