Leadership Development Implementation Coordinator

GEICO Leadership Development Team

Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join GEICO's Leadership Development team in a comprehensive implementation role. This position combines program coordination, operational excellence, and strategic support to deliver end-to-end learning solutions across our enterprise. Working closely with team leaders and leadership development specialists, you will support the implementation, execution, and evaluation of leadership programs while gaining exposure to all aspects of learning and development operations.

This is a high-impact role providing hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities within our leadership development ecosystem, with a focus on operationalizing GEICO's leadership development strategy through coordinated execution and optimization of learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Implementation & Coordination

  • Program Management: Assist in implementing and leadership programs including skill-centric series, and business-driven initiatives at internal conferences.
  • Multi-Modal Delivery: Support delivery of virtual, digital, and in-person learning interventions, including microlearning, cohort-based programs, and just-in-time learning resources
  • Logistics Coordination: Serve as support for program logistics, scheduling, technology platforms, and troubleshooting during delivery
  • Event Organization: Help organize and promote learning options aligned with leadership development initiatives

2. Digital Enablement & Technology Support

  • Learning Platform Management: Maintain accurate program and participant data using learning management systems and other digital tools
  • Technology Integration: Support the use of modern learning platforms ensuring seamless learner experience and effective content delivery
  • System Administration: Interact with Learning Management Systems, Zoom, and other technologies used within L&D operations
  • Digital Content Support: Assist with content updates and session-related materials

3. Experiential & Social Learning Moderation

  • In-Situ Learning: Support "in-situ" learning experiences (real-time skill application in work contexts) and peer learning opportunities
  • Community Building: Assist in coordinating mentoring, communities of practice, and leader circles as part of the developmental ecosystem
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in after action reviews and content updating processes
  • Session Observation: Observe facilitators during live sessions, gaining insight into adult learning principles and instructional techniques

4. Data Collection, Analysis & Program Measurement

  • Feedback Management: Gather and analyze participant feedback and learning outcome data
  • Performance Tracking: Support tracking and analysis of program participation, feedback, performance metrics, and business impact
  • Survey Development: Support program evaluation efforts including building surveys and recommending improvements based on insights
  • Measurement and Impact Analysis: Collaborate on projects related to tracking learning impact metrics
  • Reporting Support: Assist in compiling data and supporting comprehensive program evaluation

5. Stakeholder Partnership & Administrative Excellence

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with stakeholders across teams to ensure smooth program delivery
  • Communication Management: Coordinate logistics including scheduling, communication, marketing, and documentation maintenance
  • Vendor Relations: Gain experience with vendor management, tools, and communications strategies
  • Change Management Support: Support change management and communication efforts around leadership behaviors and learning initiatives

6. Strategic Learning & Development Exposure

  • Emerging Trends: Engage in special projects exploring emerging trends in leadership development and corporate learning technologies
  • Team Participation: Attend team meetings and contribute ideas during brainstorming and planning sessions
  • Innovation Support: Support the development of modern learning methodologies and best practices
  • Business Alignment: Help connect learning initiatives to business outcomes and the GEICO Pledge

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Education, Psychology, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in L&D, training coordination, program management, or related field
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Proficiency with learning management systems and digital platforms
  • Data-driven mindset with attention to detail
  • Domestic travel to support events (as needed)

Preferred

  • Experience in corporate learning, leadership development, or talent management
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational development
  • Experience with analytics tools and program evaluation methods
  • Background in financial services, insurance, or regulated industries

Location

Hybrid position with preference for basing in Chevy Chase, MD, Dallas, Tx or Tampa, Florida. Other locations may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Annual Salary

$65,600.00 - $129,150.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
