Main Duties
- Perform linguistic quality assessments of translated audiovisual content from Korean (ko-KR) to Japanese (ja-JP).
- Identify and correct linguistic errors, ensuring consistency in terminology and style.
- Provide detailed feedback to translators and create quality reports.
- Ensure adherence to client-specific style guides and glossaries.
- Use CAT tools to review and assess translations.
- Manage weekly capacity to handle 2000 - 5000 words per locale and ensure timely task completion.
Requirements
- BS/BA in linguistic, translation, musicology, music production, music business, or related fields.
- 2+ years of work experience in translation, linguistic, copy-writing, or copy-editing.
- Deep understanding of various music genres, especially Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop (R’n’B)
- Extensive knowledge and passion for K-POP and J-POP
- Exceptional command of Korean and Japanese languages
- Proven experience in translating lyrics or similar content
