Position Overview:

The Knowledge Management Specialist leads the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of knowledge resources supporting Polaris customers, dealers, and employees. Partnering across functions, you will develop, maintain, and optimize content so information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business objectives. Using performance metrics, user feedback, and support insights, you improve content quality, discoverability, and self-service effectiveness across channels. This role offers the opportunity to reduce support effort, strengthen user experiences, and enable the consistent delivery of information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify knowledge needs, priorities, gaps, and content opportunities.

• Facilitate the creation, governance, maintenance, and lifecycle management of knowledge resources.

• Establish and maintain content standards, best practices, and governance processes that promote consistency and quality.

• Develop and improve knowledge processes, information architecture, and content organization.

• Monitor content performance, search behavior, support trends, and user feedback to guide continuous improvement.

• Identify and implement content improvements that enhance user experience, discoverability, and self-service effectiveness.

• Develop reporting and insights that support knowledge strategy and data-informed decision-making.

• Promote knowledge-sharing practices, content ownership, and collaboration across functions.

• Evaluate tools, technologies, and processes that improve the creation, delivery, and management of knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 2 years of experience working with content management systems, knowledge platforms, SharePoint, or digital publishing tools.

• Knowledge of content governance, information architecture, taxonomy, or knowledge management principles.

• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to use content performance metrics, search behavior, support trends, and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $65,000 to $86,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.  While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range. 

To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
