Position Summary:
Working as a team with others to produce various styles of knit caps. Fast paced and detail oriented. Maintain highest acceptable quality in process and finished product.
Essential Functions:
- Carefully reviews paper work for daily orders that include details such as; quantities, colors, due dates, and if any specific notes that may be shown.
- Lifting, Pulling, shoving, and pushing boxes that weigh 10-75lbs.
- Place spools of thread, cord, or other materials on spindles, insert bobbins, and thread ends through machine guides and components.
- Position items under needles, using marks on machines, clamps, templates, or cloth as guides.
- Guide garments or garment parts under machine needles and presser feet to sew parts together.
- Maintaining quality of the knit, assuring measurements, sizes, and sew lines are accurate.
- Working at a fast pace to ensure daily production goals is met.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work closely with other people.
- Must be punctual and have a positive work attitude.
- The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
- Detail oriented
- Must be willing to cross-train in various positions.
- Some sitting, standing, walking, lifting (over 75 lbs.), bending, twisting, reaching, stretching, pushing, and pulling required.
