Monday-Friday- Rotating Shifts

10.15am-6.15pm- AM shift

2.30pm-10.30pm- PM shift

We are recruiting for an NDC Key Operator to work at our Distribution Centre in Telford.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of standards and procedures.
  • Care and control of equipment.
  • Achievement of daily targets.
  • Adopt a Leadership position, setting the standards and driving departmental performance through strong team management.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for more specialised functions within the department.
  • Must be willing to undertake training in any NDC activity.
  • Must be willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime when requested.
  • The job role requires interaction with various members of staff and management.
  • To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be requested by a manager/supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Understanding of overall NDC operation, individual department functions and key contacts
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of duties would be desirable
  • Understanding and willingness to promote the H&S policy within the NDC
  • Understanding of all SAP screens relevant to the role
  • Attention to detail – must display high levels of accuracy within role
  • Ability to train others on all operational aspects of the function and
  • Adaptability - to operate in multiple areas of the department in line
  • with relevant KPIs
