We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join our HomeRite Sales team. This is a fully remote field-based role responsible for driving profitable growth across Ontario through strategic account management, business development, and customer relationship building within the retail, hardware and building supply distribution channels.

The Opportunity

HomeRite Division | Remote Sales, Ontario | Full-Time | Permanent

The starting compensation range for this role is between $93,000.00 - $116,300.00 CAD annually (based on experience and qualifications)

As the Key Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for a broad portfolio of customers across Ontario. You will develop strategic partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and execute sales plans that increase revenue, profitability, and market share.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who enjoys working independently, building customer relationships, and spending significant time in the field. Success in this position requires a strong hunting mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver value-based solutions to customers.

What You'll DoGrow and Manage Key Customer Accounts
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with retail, hardware, and building supply customers.
  • Develop strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary contact for customers within your territory.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs and identify opportunities.
Drive New Business Development and Revenue Growth
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities across Ontario.
  • Expand existing accounts while securing new customers.
  • Achieve or exceed sales, revenue, and profitability objectives.
  • Increase market penetration and support strategic growth initiatives.
Deliver Strategic Customer Solutions
  • Understand customer challenges and recommend value-based solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams including Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Sales Leadership to ensure customer success.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and account profitability.
  • Present account reviews, forecasts, and growth plans to customers and leadership.
What You'll BringEducation
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in territory sales, account management, business development, or a related sales role.
  • Proven success growing customer accounts and generating new business.
  • Experience within one or more of the following industries is highly preferred: Retail or Mass Merchant Channels, Home Improvement, Hardware, Building Products, or Plumbing
