The Key Account Specialist is the single point of contact and support for an assigned portfolio of major clients. This role has a dual functionality: as a concierge providing excellent customer service to the employees of these major clients throughout the full sales cycle; and as an administrator providing day-to-day support to the Key Account Sales Manager(s) responsible for the account(s). This position offers ongoing specialized services that are unique to Mark’s Commercial.
The Key Account Specialist plays a critical role in successfully managing programs for these major clients to maximize their experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service to Mark’s Commercial Key Account clients’ employees.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, the Key Account Specialist Team, and internal stakeholders to deliver specialized customer experiences.
- Consult with our E-commerce team to ensure streamlined processes and accuracies between customer platform and customers’ requirements.
- Support and partner with the Sales Team regarding customer-focused initiatives, regular portfolio updates, and account evaluation and upkeep.
- Prepare, analyze, and share internal and external sales reports.
- Organize, investigate, and facilitate the outstanding orders reports.
- Collaborate with appropriate business units and fulfillment centers to ensure orders are fulfilled within predetermined timelines.
- Contribute to the evolution of processes and procedures with a holistic view to creating streamlined efficiencies.
- Develop and implement solutions proactively to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of sales, admin, and/or customer service experience.
- Enjoys the balance of working independently and within a collaborative team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel; Copilot and D365 is a plus.
- A growth mindset, eager to learn, agile, and curious.
- Bilingual French and English are considered an asset.
Academic / Educational requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

Our typical hiring range is between 45,000 and 55,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
