Situated in Singapore, the Singapore ADM cluster business serves as a strategic base for expanding JDE’s global presence in the Asian region. Singapore also serves as a operating hub for the APAC leadership team and the regional corporate functions such as Finance, Internal Controls, Marketing, HR and Corporate Affairs.

Job Description

  • Designs business development strategy, product portfolio and go-to-market strategy for the assigned markets.
  • Executes new product launches in selected export countries.
  • Responsible for sales revenue and P&L for the assigned markets.
  • Responsible for distributor selection and managing distributor relations.
  • The role requires close interaction with the Customer Service/Supply Chain and Export team.
  • Prepares Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the assigned countries, factoring cost savings and financial targets.
  • Strives to deliver sustainable sales growth and financial targets in the short and medium term and seeks opportunities to exceed the set sales target.
  • Executes general pricing, promotional pricing and trade margins within guidelines and pricing bandwidth.
  • Monitors trade spend and provides sales and volume forecasting on a monthly basis.
  • Cross functional liaison to ensure all relevant functions are aware of our key success factors and issues in the export markets.
  • Monitors and analyses market trends, consumer behavior and competitor activity to identify new opportunities in selected export countries.
  • Liaises with markets and Legal Department re local legal requirements re pack design; wording and use of brand Trade Marks and logos to ensure legal compliance in Export markets.

Additional Information

  • University education with a degree, preferably in a business related subject e.g. Business Administration; Business Studies, Economics
  • Minimum 3-5 years of international commercial business experience
  • Proven track record on defining and implementing the sales strategy in the best way in different countries.
  • Proven track record on driving efficient specific different distributors (sustainable & profitable business growth)
  • Solid experience in FMCG products
  • Very open and a good understanding of managing different countries/ shows a full focus on the business profiles.
  • Sound financial understanding and a record of managing a P&L
