About the Role
We are seeking an experienced National Key Account Manager – Service to manage a portfolio of strategically important customers on a 12-month parental leave contract.
The position can be based in our Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane office.
In this role, you will take ownership of long-term customer relationships, driving service excellence while maximising revenue and identifying opportunities across the full customer lifecycle. You will play a key role in strengthening partnerships, improving retention, and delivering sustainable growth.
Your success will be measured through customer loyalty, retention, service growth, and profitability, while working collaboratively across sales and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers
Manage the service contract portfolio, including renewals, variations, and value-added solutions
Monitor account performance, customer satisfaction (NPS), and sales pipeline activity
Identify, develop, and close opportunities to grow service, modernisation, and lifecycle solutions
Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions
Proactively manage customer issues, risks, and escalations
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
About You
Proven experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, ideally within services, construction, building products, or technical industries
Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to deliver value-based solutions
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder accounts and long-term contracts
Commercially astute with understanding of profitability, forecasting, and pipeline management
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Lift industry experience is advantageous but not essential
