We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager – Capital Sales to join our team in Beijing. This role will focus on developing strategic relationships with leading mining companies and EPC/EPCM organisations and driving growth across FLS’s mineral processing technology and capital equipment portfolio.

This position requires proven experience within the mineral processing industry and a strong understanding of mineral processing equipment, flowsheets and plant operations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow strategic relationships with key mining customers and EPC/EPCM partners across China.

  • Identify and secure capital equipment and mineral processing project opportunities in China and internationally.

  • Promote FLS’s mineral processing technologies, equipment and integrated solutions across the processing plant.

  • Lead the sales cycle from opportunity identification and technical solution development through proposal, commercial negotiation and contract award.

  • Understand customer processing requirements, operational challenges and project objectives to position appropriate technical and commercial solutions.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer investment plans, projects and operational priorities.

  • Collaborate with global product line managers, engineering, proposal, project management and technical specialists to develop competitive solutions.

  • Build relationships with key technical, operational, procurement and executive stakeholders within customer organisations.

  • Monitor market developments, competitor activity and upcoming mineral processing projects to identify growth opportunities.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, account updates and market intelligence to senior management.

  • Represent FLS at customer meetings, technical discussions, industry events and trade shows.

  • Ensure compliance with FLS commercial processes, legal requirements and ethical standards.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience within the mineral processing industry – this is essential.

  • Demonstrated experience in capital equipment sales, technical sales, business development or key account management within mineral processing.

  • Strong technical understanding of mineral processing plants, process flowsheets and associated equipment and technologies.

  • Experience with mineral processing areas such as comminution, crushing, grinding, flotation, separation, dewatering, filtration, thickening or material handling will be highly regarded.

  • Proven experience working with major mining companies, mineral processing operations, EPC/EPCM organisations and/or large-scale mining projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical and commercial sales opportunities and achieve sales growth.

  • Strong understanding of capital project lifecycles, customer decision-making processes and technical solution selling.

  • Excellent relationship-building, commercial negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluent Mandarin Chinese and strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout China and internationally as required.

Skills Required
