Greenvolt Next Spain is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive business growth by managing strategic clients, developing long-term commercial relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of tailored energy solutions. This role involves understanding client needs in depth, coordinating internal teams, and ensuring high-quality service throughout the full opportunity lifecycle.
Main responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Manage strategic and large accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and long-term satisfaction.
- Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to present the company’s value proposition and differentiated service offering.
- Respond to client inquiries related to products, services, technical requirements, and commercial conditions.
- Leverage and expand an existing network of clients and commercial relationships developed throughout your career.
Sales Development & Opportunity Management
- Lead and manage the full offer cycle from initial contact to closure, ensuring all proposals meet client expectations and internal quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical, legal, finance) to prepare competitive proposals and commercial strategies.
- Conduct market research and field assessments to identify new business opportunities and strengthen client portfolios.
Operational Coordination
- Identify and address non-conformities, ensuring corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of processes related to tender control, contract management, and commercial governance.
Business Insights & Strategy
- Gather market insights (competitor activity, customer trends, pricing benchmarks, risks and opportunities) and share findings internally to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure that commercial decisions reflect both client needs and company interests, contributing to sustainable growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the renewable energy or energy services industry.
- Proven track record of managing and growing strategic client accounts.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead collaborative initiatives.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
- Capability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
