The CIL team looks after “anything that isn’t cars” including bikes, boats, caravans, trucks, construction and farm machinery and a wide range of adjacent industries. This role plays a critical part in managing key client relationships, driving portfolio growth, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to the ongoing success of the CIL business.

What you’ll be doing:
The Key Account Manager (Field) partners with OEMs, key dealer groups, and aligned businesses to build long‑term, strategic relationships that position carsales as a trusted partner. Going beyond day‑to‑day account management, you’ll work closely with senior decision‑makers to understand client strategies and drive growth.
Using strong industry insight and solution‑selling capability, you’ll provide tailored best‑practice advice, drive adoption of integrated carsales solutions, and maximise retention, ROI, and product uptake across dealer networks strengthening our highest‑value relationships and market leadership.
- Develop and execute account strategies by identifying growth opportunities, securing media and promotional partnerships, and leading contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions.
- Build strong, multi‑level relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer internally to influence platform and service improvements.
- Deliver clear performance, ROI, and market insight reporting, while monitoring industry trends and competitive activity.
- Drive retention and account expansion by proactively identifying renewal, upsell, and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Ensure operational excellence by achieving revenue and retention targets, managing pipeline and forecasting in CRM, and supporting dealer training and enquiries.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years’ experience in Key Account Management, Enterprise Sales, or Business Development managing large clients.
- Experience working with digital solutions and digital media, with a strong solution‑selling mindset.
- Proven ability to drive revenue and growth, supported by solid commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated success building and influencing trusted relationships with senior (C‑level or equivalent) stakeholders.
- Strong capability using CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) to manage pipeline, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strategic thinker who can identify growth opportunities and influence outcomes using data and insight.
- Data‑driven approach, using performance metrics, market trends, and ROI analysis to inform decisions.
- Proactive problem‑solver who operates effectively in fast‑paced environments.
- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating cross‑functionally to deliver customer outcomes.
- Strong commercial focus across revenue, retention, and account expansion.
