All About the Role:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, margin performance, and overall profitability for assigned customers. This role leads strategic account planning, forecasting, and execution of merchandising and promotional initiatives to deliver financial and operational targets. Through strong cross‑functional collaboration and effective customer engagement, the Key Account Manager ensures accurate forecasting, successful program activation, and consistent achievement of key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage sales, gross margin, and profitability targets to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs
Develop and execute customer‑specific business plans, including promotional, merchandising, and pricing strategies
Lead forecasting at category, brand, and SKU levels to meet forecast accuracy KPIs
Identify growth opportunities and convert them into incremental sales, margin improvements, or merchandising gains
Monitor competitive activity and market trends, using insights to adjust account strategies and support share growth
Oversee execution of promotions, program launches, and in‑store retail initiatives to ensure compliance and activation KPIs
Strengthen customer relationships while partnering cross‑functionally with Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations
Complete required business reporting, updates, and budget management in alignment with administrative KPIs
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
3+ years of sales or account management experience, preferably in consumer goods or retail
Proven experience analyzing sales, financial, or market data to inform business decisions
Ability to travel, including occasional overnight trips

The expected compensation for this role includes a base salary of $110,000 to $130,000 per year. Final compensation will be dependent on several factors including experience, skills, and education.
