A Key Account Manager in our NZ Business is an influential role that is responsible for the planning and execution of our retail strategy by management of a targeted portfolio of Key Accounts; ensuring plans align to annual sales targets focused on implementing and growing product placement, marketing, and promotional programmes. It is a key account management role in a dynamic environment where an agile approach will be fostered to adapt to a constantly changing and competitive market aligned to the needs of our customers.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the strategic plan is translated into executable actions that deliver to our shared imperatives, identifying and developing integrated demand generation strategies that drive sales. Deeply understanding the Key Account and environmental influences will keep you current on changes and retail best practice that influence your Key Account’s strategic plans.

This role will ensure highly effective cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the needs of the Key Accounts, while effectively managing Key Account relationships, creating enthusiasm for Fisher & Paykel and Haier’s, vision and products, leveraging all growth opportunities.

You’ll have the ability to gauge customer needs providing proactive strategies and support to drive product sales, being a strong advocate for best practice and representation of our brand. You will use our tools to monitor daily sales performance metrics and reporting to maximise sell through and opportunities with strong financial understanding and analytical skills.

So who are you?

You’ll be a proven sales professional with a track record of successfully transforming and growing key retail accounts, understanding the levers required to deliver profitable growth. You develop and implement effective customer relationship management strategies building a deep understanding of the customer.

Your experience with analytics and evaluating sales data and reports means you have the ability to reach logical conclusions and make sound business focused recommendations and decisions. You demonstrate strategic thinking with a highly commercial mind-set and heightened ability to use insight to enhance the customer experience.
