Job Purpose
 
The purpose of this role is to identify, prospect and win new local operators and customers, while retaining and winning new business with current customers. The main aim for the role is to help our customers grow. Thus, delivering sustainable profitable growth to Unilever.
We are now looking for a Key Account Manager for Unilever Food Solution to grow our social sector business. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who has proven success in a customer / business development role and is looking to make the next step towards national account management with preferable experience from social sector We are a team of passionate professionals with great deal of experience and strong collaboration skills.
Main Responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager (KAM) you will be hunting new customer’s and opportunities to manage consistent growth in our social sector customers by understanding their individual development needs and being able to serve them with our solutions. You will play a key role in building long-term plans with our customers, developing networks, organizing different training courses, workshops and much more.
Your customers are in every part of Finland – ideally you are located in Southern Finland with a mindset of traveling. You will manage all incoming tenders and work closely with our test kitchen to develop needed solutions for the key customers
- Searching and Following up Sales leads to win new customers 
- Create, plan, and execute tailored growth initiatives in existing customers 
- Identify, develop, and manage multiple stakeholders across all customers. 
- Identify relevant prospects, open direct dialogue, and initiate growth activities. 
- Develop robust relationships with relevant contacts 
 
Preparing Public Contracts 
- Identify timing of tenders via Tender Calendar 
- Receipt of tender notices via Municipalities or Internet analysis, requesting specifications 
- Matching specifications needs to UFS products 
- Preparing public tender offerings and documentation 
- Manage pricing files including rebates 
- Managing contract agreement structure 
 
Managing Tenders 
- Follow up on Won/Lost contracts to track results 
- Monitor and analyze tender results, both won and lost and capture insights for future tenders 
- Communicate and support wholesalers in the tender process 
- Build and maintain good relations with wholesalers and be the first point of contact to wholesale tender groups in all tender related questions 
- Inform wholesalers of assortment changes, and keep assortment lists updated in the contracts 
- Analyze and closely monitor market competition 
About You
As a KAM, you already have proven your skills and have some 3 years’ experience in the food service market with knowledge of the social sector, and you know how to build relationships and gain growth. We don´t need you to be a chef but you must have good experience and understanding from social sector cooking methods and process development. You are a proactive problem-solver, driven by a passion for continuous development. Your clear and concise thinking enables you to prioritize effectively and lead yourself with autonomy. You have strong commercial skills and an analytical mindset to support data-driven decision-making. additionally, You have decent understanding of the digital sales environment and e-commerce. You recognize the importance of social media and actively contribute to sharing our updates across various platforms.
