In addition to our main products, scissors and axes from the Billnäs factory, we are a leading provider of high-quality forging products both for smaller and
bigger industries. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and
innovation in the forging industry.  Currently we provide a range of nearly 400 forging parts and products to our customers.

Our role

Now we have an interesting role opening to further develop our forging
business and to strengthen our sales activities. Primarily we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Customer Account Manager, who preferable has
relevant experience from production environment. In this role your key
responsibilities would cover:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets for forging products.
  • Lead Sales Pipeline
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
  • Cost monitoring.

Key Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers.
  • Monitor and manage client satisfaction and address any issues promptly.
     

In addition to sales responsibilities, it is possible that the role also oversees the forging production organization, covering technical planning and production. Depending on experience and motivation, this responsibility can be included to the role. In practice this would mean:

Production Oversight:

  • Responsibility of the forging production organization to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Coordinate with production teams to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

This position plays a strategic role for our business and therefore tight collaboration with internal stakeholders (technical planning, production as a whole, sourcing and finance) are important to develop and execute account plans that ensure long-term success in the market. In this role you would report to the Director of Billnäs factory.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Technical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales (5-10 years) and key account management,
    preferably in the manufacturing industry (understanding production
    processes and quality control).
  • Experience in supply chain and project management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical skills and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Understanding of steel alloys and heat treatment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Fluent in Finnish, Swedish and English.
