As a Key Account Manager within the oil and gas segment sales team, you will develop strategic business relationships with targeted key accounts across China — including leading international EPC contractors, FPSO operators and energy asset owners — to drive sustainable revenue and market share growth in the Chinese oil‑and‑gas markets. You will build PPG’s reputation for sales excellence, grow specification influence, and generate qualified regional project enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a defined portfolio of strategic key accounts in China’s oil‑and‑gas sectors, execute account plans to deliver against business growth targets.
- Proactively gather, validate and share high‑quality market & project intelligence (including tender pipelines, owner CAPEX plans and competitor activities) with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and update project trackers and enquiry registers on Salesforce; ensure timely visibility of project status, specification progress and bid milestones.
- Collaborate closely with the Segment Specification Team, Business Development Managers (BDMs), and field technical specialists to shape project specifications, align solution offerings, and maximize project win rates.
- Orchestrate end‑to‑end sales service activities from pre‑sales technical support through to post‑delivery follow‑up; work with relevant teams to support timely full collection of receivables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Chemical, Engineering, Marketing preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years of sales or business‑development experience within the protective‑coatings industry, with solid exposure to industrial / heavy‑duty anti‑corrosion solutions.
- Success in large project of O&G market, especially Oil & Gas Offshore business.
- Capability for new customer development
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English
