We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Key Account Manager to drive sustainable sales growth and strengthen strategic partnerships within the Dischem group and Dischem & CJ wholesalers. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, developing and executing account strategies, negotiating commercial agreements, and delivering sales and market share objectives across the Dischem group and wholesalers. This role requires a highly analytical, customer-focused professional who can influence stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive sales growth and deliver agreed revenue, profitability, and market share targets across key customer accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy groups, wholesalers, buyers, and key decision-makers.
- Lead commercial negotiations, promotional initiatives, and product listing opportunities to maximise business performance.
- Analyse sales, market, and customer data to identify opportunities, improve forecasting accuracy, and support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial Excellence to ensure successful execution of customer strategies.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing key accounts within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, retail pharmacy, or wholesale environment.
- Strong track record in account planning, commercial negotiations, and customer relationship management
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
