In the role as Key Account Manager, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will be responsible for expanding, strengthening, and optimizing the dealer network across the region. The role will focus on driving sales growth, improving dealer performance, increasing market penetration, and building a sustainable distribution ecosystem aligned with company strategy.

 

Your contribution is appreciated, and you responsibilities include:

 

1.     Dealer Network Expansion

  • Identify, appoint, and onboard new dealers across key territories.

  • Strengthen presence in emerging and underpenetrated markets.

  • Implement structured coverage planning and territory mapping.

2.     Dealer Relationship Management

  • Drive business growth from the existing dealer network with clear nurture and ramp-up plans.

  • Build long-term partnerships with key dealers and chain clinics.

  • Conduct regular business reviews and ensure strong engagement and brand loyalty.

3.     Sales Growth & Target Achievement

  • Deliver regional sales targets through the dealer network.

  • Monitor dealer performance, productivity, and profitability.

  • Develop incentive schemes and promotional programs to boost sell-out.

4.     Market Development & Competitive Strategy

  • Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and new launches.

  • Strengthen presence in key price segments (especially the premium range).

  • Support dealers with local market activation initiatives.

5.     Operational Excellence

  • Ensure smooth coordination between dealers and internal teams (Supply Chain, Service, Marketing).

  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock planning.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and pricing discipline.

6.     Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare monthly sales forecasts and performance reports.

  • Analyse performance data to identify growth opportunities and corrective actions.

  • Present strategic insights to senior leadership.

 

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Postgraduate qualification; MBA is preferred (Sales / Marketing / Business Management).

  • 15–20 years of experience in Sales and Channel Development, preferably in allied or similar industries.

  • Strong exposure to dealer and distribution network management.

  • Experience in medical devices, hearing aids, healthcare, or consumer electronics preferred.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across India (18–20 days per month).

  • Ability to lead and manage a team of 12–18 members, with 5 Zonal Sales Managers reporting directly.
