As a Key Account Manager you will be the face of the company and the voice of the customer. You will be responsible for strengthening the companys relationships and growing market share with our existing customer base. The Key Account Manager must be able to have personal responsibility for identifying, communicating, and meeting our customers needs and expectations. The goal is to build impenetrable relationships with our existing customers which drives to both partys success. The key to the position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including sales leadership, marketing, industry professionals, plant operations, pricing, and quoting. In order to be successful in this role you must develop and maintain a deep understanding of Paulos technology, services, and marketplace.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue with existing accounts.
  • Expand relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and communicate sales opportunities (in new and existing processes) which arise from existing customers.
  • Identify and communicate customer satisfaction issues and improvement ideas.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers and/or act as a conduit for technical information.
  • Provide information to assist in pricing, quoting, and management decisions (background history, competitive circumstances, similar jobs and/or situations).
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the services offered by Paulo and a thorough understanding of their applications.
  • Know and analyze the competition.
  • Perform sales and marketing activities as directed by Paulo management.
  • Travel to participate in job-related meetings, conventions, training, etc. Such travel will involve overnight stays of one or more nights. Up to 50% travel can be expected, not all travel will consist of overnight stays.

 

 

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or equivalent job-related experience.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience in sales, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment and providing customer-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

License(s)/Certification(s) Required:

  • Valid drivers license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with Paulo's Vehicle Use Policy.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job-related experience
  • Proven sales experience (ability to sell and develop customer-focused solutions)
  • Sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all organizational levels including executive/C-level
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record per Paulo's Vehicle Use Policy
  • Willingness and ability to travel (including overnight stays) up to 50%
