Job Summary

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing relationships with the company’s most important clients. This role focuses on maintaining long-term partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within assigned key accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and assigned accounts
  • Understand clients’ business goals and challenges

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets within key accounts
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Develop strategic account plans and business reviews

3. Strategic Planning

  • Build account strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions

4. Customer Satisfaction

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Resolve issues promptly and effectively
  • Monitor service performance and improve customer experience

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet client needs
  • Support product launches and promotional plans

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track performance metrics (sales, profitability, KPIs)
  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA is a plus

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, key account management, or business development from FMCG, especially in Personal Care shop (Watsons/Boots)
  • Experience managing large or strategic accounts preferred

Skills Required
