More about the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Signify as a Key Account Manager - Projects, responsible for driving specification-led project growth across New South Wales.
In the role, you will be responsible to:
- Drive specification of Signify lighting and connected solutions across commercial and industrial projects throughout NSW.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the specifier community, including electrical engineers, lighting designers, architects, consultants and other project influencers.
- Engage projects from early design stage, providing technical input, lighting expertise and solution guidance to secure Signify at specification.
- Deliver sales growth, revenue and profitability targets through effective pipeline, forecast and account management.
- Lead commercial discussions and tenders at project level, including pricing, margin management and coordination of technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with internal Signify teams to support specification, project execution and seamless handover.
- Promote connected, digital and sustainable lighting solutions, maintaining a strong technical understanding of lighting design, systems and industry standards.
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, Design or similar (or equivalent experience).
- Approximately 5 years’ experience in Key Account, Specification Sales or Projects roles, ideally within the lighting, electrical or building services industry.
- Proven success in a B2B project environment (public and private), working with specifiers, consultants and project stakeholders across complex sales cycles.
- Strong technical understanding of lighting and lighting design, including specifications and project documentation.
- Established specifier relationships, with the ability to develop new networks.
- Commercially minded, results-driven and comfortable working autonomously.
