What You’ll Be Part Of
As a Key Account Manager – E-Commerce, you will be responsible for driving the growth and business performance of HARMAN’s portfolio on Flipkart. You will work closely with the platform team, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to develop and execute platform-specific growth strategies, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable sales. This role is a strong fit for someone who combines commercial acumen with analytical thinking, enjoys building strategic customer partnerships, and has hands-on experience managing large e-commerce accounts within the consumer electronics or FMCG industry.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Relationship Management – Build and maintain excellent relationships with platforms, sellers, and internal stakeholders. The candidate should be willing to travel and conduct weekly face-to-face meetings with customers.
Sales – Deliver sales targets by executing platform-level strategies and partnerships that drive incremental growth while maintaining a strong focus on margins.
Marketing – Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure sufficient visibility for our products and actively participate in marketing events conducted on the platform.
Operations – Work closely with the Key Distributor (ND) to oversee and ensure that partner purchase orders are fulfilled based on stock availability.
Competition Tracking – Stay ahead of changing market trends and strategic priorities through in-depth data analysis to anticipate customer behaviour and market dynamics.
What Makes You A Strong Fit
5–7 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, or E-Commerce.
Experience managing key e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon and Flipkart.
Extensive experience in multi-market sales is required. Experience in the audio manufacturing or consumer electronics industry is preferred.
Provide regular market feedback to the vertical and target market specialists.
Interface with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to leverage their expertise and maximize the success of product launches.
We see AI as an important part of how work gets done. While tools may vary, a baseline familiarity with using AI to support efficiency, problem-solving, and quality is expected.
Bonus Points if You Have
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) required.
Dynamic relationship builder with a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities and negotiating complex business deals for mutual benefit.
Experience managing an annual e-commerce business of ₹100 crore+.
Strong relationships with senior stakeholders across leading e-commerce marketplaces.
Exposure to pricing strategy, category management, and demand forecasting.
