The Opportunity

The Key Account Manager’s main responsibility is to grow his/her assigned account or territory and develop strategic customer business plans that foster collaboration, capture key issues and opportunities, aligned with brand strategies and customer KPIs as a means to mutually grow the business. This involves developing Optimum Assortment, G2N and Returns management, In-store visibility and execution, pricing and promotion strategies, based on factual data to drive shopper purchase behavior and market share growth. This role will cover North/Central Luzon & a big wholesaler and will be based in Pangasinan or Pampanga.


Key Responsibilities:

Financials/Sales 

  • Provide Forecast and Ensure Achievement of Sales Target
  • Gross to Net Management within company standard
  • Manage Returns within industry standard

Channel and Customer Management

  • Deliver end to end management of customer needs including service levels and operational process improvements
  • Confidently engage with top key stakeholders and provide relevant solutions internally and externally
  • Product Inclusions and Distribution Improvement on reach and depth (Must Sell Assortment) 

Business Strategy and Planning

  • Trade Program Proposal
  • Business Building Activities including excellent execution of programs
  • Implementation of Marketing initiated activities 

Admin 

  • Report Submissions
  • Coverage Plan adherence and productivity

About You

  • Graduate of any 4-year college course, preferably business or science related
  • At least 5 years of relevant Key Accounts/Distributor Management experience in the FMCG/Consumer Healthcare/OTC Field
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools; experience with dashboards, branch scorecards, or trade execution tracking is an advantage.
  • Must possess adequate driving skills, and holder of a valid driver’s license. 
  • Has the ability to seek creative but compliant solutions to various issues
  • Has the ability to do root cause analysis, turn insights into actions and provide solutions as needed
  • Has a positive mindset and can-do attitude towards change and challenges
  • Must be mobile and willing to travel across (areas) for visits, business reviews, coordination meetings, and execution checks.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear updates, performance summaries, recommendations, and feedback.
  • Ability to drive branch-level sales growth by improving product availability, supporting transfer sales, and executing agreed commercial priorities.
  • Skilled in managing a certain territory and coverage through regular store visits, issue resolution, and disciplined follow-through.
  • Capable of monitoring KPIs such as sales achievement, distribution, stock availability, promo compliance, merchandising execution, call coverage, and branch engagement.
  • Adhere to company values at all times.

Skills Required

  • Graduate of a 4-year college course
  • At least 5 years Key Accounts/Distributor Management experience in FMCG/Consumer Healthcare/OTC
