As our Key Account Manager (KAM) for AC Solutions, your mission is to be the driving force behind the growth of our AC product portfolio. You will balance a strategic "hunter" mindset to acquire new flagship customers with a "farmer" approach to scale and nurture our existing key accounts. You will be a key player in our expansion within critical verticals, from utilities and large-scale corporate fleets to real estate and the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Growth & Management: Own, manage, and scale a portfolio of strategic AC customers within your assigned territory, ensuring long-term retention and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute tailored account strategies to hit and exceed revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Lead the entire sales process—from initial discovery and qualifying high-value opportunities to complex proposals, negotiations, and closing.
  • Pipeline Generation: Actively build a robust pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and representing the company at major industry events.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead high-stakes negotiations for new contracts, renewals, and upsell opportunities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Business Reviews: Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders to analyze performance, provide insights, and uncover new growth areas.

Target Customer Profiles

You will focus on building deep relationships within the following verticals:

  • Corporate Fleets & Logistics
  • Real Estate Developers & Property Managers
  • Hospitality Groups
  • Utilities & Energy Companies
  • Public Sector & Municipal Accounts
  • VARs (Value Added Resellers) and Large Contractors

Requirements:

  • Experienced: 5–8 years of proven experience in B2B Key Account Management or New Business Sales, preferably within the EV charging, technical, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Hybrid Seller: You are a rare mix of a "Hunter" (closing large new deals) and a "Farmer" (growing existing strategic partnerships).
  • Consultative Approach: Expert in solution-selling with the ability to navigate long sales cycles and multi-site project deployments.
  • Stakeholder Expert: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders and technical decision-makers.
  • Data-Driven: Disciplined with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and a fan of structured account planning.
  • Industry Savvy: Deep understanding of the EV infrastructure landscape is a significant plus.
