Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated, results driven and highly collaborative candidate based in
Italy, with at least 1 year of experience in Sales
JOB PURPOSE
The key function of this role is to drive profitable NSV growth of allocated Customers in the given market. The role will involve managing the operational customer relationships internally and externally, including owning the operational commercial relationships within customers.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES & DELIVERABLES
The Customer Development Manager is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth with assigned customers.
• This role is expected to execute customer business plans that deliver company and customer
Objectives through selling opportunities and negotiations.
• The role manages customer relationships and influences to implement solutions (e.g. sales
revenue, trade revenue optimisation, customer profitability, category growth, product range, new product launches, placement and pricing) that deliver mutually beneficial
results for the customer and company.
• The role is required to execute all agreed to solutions with the customer to include accurate,
timely forecasting, detailed follow through and efficient trade revenue optimisation to an
agreed budget.
Education & Professional Qualifications
Degree educated or equivalent.
Knowledge / Experience
- Some commercial experience that may include selling, negotiating, and leveraging insights to deliver customer plans, achieving company and customer objectives
- Customer experience with direct or head office customers delivering solutions that cover promotion and/ or pricing; with a track record of meeting/ exceeding sales objectives
- Exposure to principles of Category Management; ability to tell the category story.
- Experience in managing a budget and/ or trade revenue optimization delivering budget and ROI

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be within the range set out below for a full-time position. Within this range, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Compensation information: 38000€-57000€ annually gross
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay & general allowances (depending on the position, …).
