Four Paws Pet Hotel & Resort has a new opportunity for an animal lover to join our team as a Junior Staff Member. We offer luxury boarding, grooming, and doggie daycare services to Fort Collins pets and are searching for a staff member who loves working with dogs and has prior kennel technician experience.
This is a full-time or part-time position, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
The ideal candidate:

Individuals with veterinary knowledge and/or prior experience working with animals

Self-starters who can move quickly from task to task, while still paying close attention to detail

Organized individuals who excel at multitasking

Outgoing and friendly personality

Candidates must be able to work some weekends also
Skills and responsibilities:

Exercising boarded dogs
-
Cleaning up after animals (yard, cages, bowls, etc.)

Communication with other team members

Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need

Observation of behaviors, and knowing when to alert a supervisor about a change in one of the animals

Monitoring security cameras in all wards

The position is physical and involves a lot of standing and walking, lifting, and many chores throughout the hospital such as cleaning, dishes, restocking, garbage, and laundry

- Prior kennel technician experience
- Veterinary knowledge and/or prior experience working with animals
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays; flexible scheduling
- Ability to exercise dogs and monitor animal behavior
- Cleaning and sanitation of yards, cages, bowls, and facility areas
- Monitor security cameras in all wards
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive chores (laundry, dishes, garbage)
