About the Role
At Payhawk, we are looking for a talented and motivated Web and Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Design Team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our brand’s visual identity across both digital and print mediums while improving and designing our website pages. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging, user-friendly, and visually compelling designs that align with our brand and business goals.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with a strong foundation in web design, graphic design, and UX/UI principles, and has a passion for crafting designs that resonate with users and elevate the brand. Key Responsibilities
Web Design:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Design Team and Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) to design and improve website pages that align with business goals and brand principles.
- Transform content and messaging into visually appealing and functional web designs with a focus on user experience, engagement, and conversion.
- Create responsive and accessible designs that ensure a seamless experience across devices, with a mobile-first approach.
- Work with the development team and web project manager to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Contribute to the iteration and maintenance of our existing website design system and page templates.
- Assist in gathering user feedback and analytics to inform design improvements and optimize page performance.
Graphic Design:
- Develop creative assets for marketing campaigns, including social media visuals, infographics, presentations, email templates, and other collateral.
- Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, and event assets, ensuring consistency with the brand’s visual identity.
- Collaborate with the team to ideate and execute concepts that support marketing initiatives and enhance brand storytelling.
- Ensure all designs align with Payhawk’s branding guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and professional look across all channels.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and approaches to both web and graphic design projects.
General:
- Manage multiple design tasks and projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining high quality and consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and development, to ensure alignment on design goals and deliverables.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of professional experience in web and/or graphic design (agency or in-house).
- A strong portfolio showcasing both web design (with a focus on UX/UI principles and responsive design) and graphic design projects (e.g., marketing assets, print, branding).
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or similar software.
- Experience working with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
- A solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and mobile-first design principles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design ideas clearly.
- Basic knowledge of user research and usability testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.
- Experience in a B2B or SaaS environment is a plus.
