Your Role:
As a Junior Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily accounting operations of the plant, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, general accounting activities, and other financial and administrative tasks. Your key tasks will include:
- Process vendor invoices and maintain Accounts Payable records.
- Prepare customer invoices, apply cash receipts, and maintain Accounts Receivable records.
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and collections.
- Reconcile vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries and support account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation.
- Generate financial reports and perform data analysis as requested.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

About You:
We are looking to hire a knowledgeable Junior Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of prior experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You have experience working with ERP/accounting systems. You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams. You have familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and systems and are comfortable leveraging AI to improve efficiency, analyze information, and support day-to-day accounting tasks.
