✨ The core mission of the Junior Solutions Engineer:

Start your adventure in cybersecurity with Hack The Box. Your mission is to develop your skills and provide crucial support to our team and clients. Over the next 6 to 12 months, you will work on a variety of tasks independently while collaborating closely with the solution engineering team. During this time, you will learn the technical aspects of the products and help reduce the administrative overhead for solution engineers. Developing the skills necessary to support the sales organization, such as assisting with demos and addressing client inquiries, will be a key part of your role as you transition into a sales engineer. By the end of your first year, you will have taken on small projects and made significant contributions to the team’s success, positioning yourself for continued growth within the organization.

🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:

Join a team of skilled engineers with extensive backgrounds in consulting, penetration testing, incident response, and security operation centers. You'll report to the US Solutions Engineering Lead and collaborate with various departments, learning from experienced colleagues and growing your expertise.

🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of the Junior Solutions Engineer:

  • Some experience in Technical Consulting, Penetration Testing, IT or System Administration, or Defensive Security.
  • Understanding of SaaS models and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Ability to explain and present complex technical ideas clearly.
  • Previous experience with the Hack The Box platform is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

What We Do

Hack The Box is an online platform allowing you to test your penetration testing skills and exchange ideas and methodologies with other members of similar interests. It contains several challenges that are constantly updated. Some of them simulating real world scenarios and some of them leaning more towards a CTF style of challenge.

As an individual, you can complete a simple challenge to prove your skills and then create an account, allowing you to connect to our private network (HTB Net) where several machines await for you to hack them. By hacking machines you get points that help you advance in the rankings.
