SUMMARY:
We're looking for a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing R&D team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent university graduate who’s passionate about building software, eager to learn, and excited to work in a company that embraces AI tools and workflows across all disciplines. You'll contribute to real-world projects from day one while developing your engineering skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help build innovative features that unlock real-world insights for thousands of users
- Use AI tools (like ChatGPT and Copilot) to accelerate development, debug smarter, and learn faster
- Dive into production code to troubleshoot edge cases, squash bugs, and optimize performance
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that supports collaboration and scaling
- Work on real-time and batch systems that process massive geolocation datasets across the U.S.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, and code reviews—your ideas and feedback are valued
- Own and deliver small projects from end to end, gaining autonomy and technical depth over time
- Explore and adopt new technologies and patterns that improve our product and engineering workflows
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to build intuitive, high-impact features
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, TypeScript)
- Basic understanding of version control tools (e.g. Git)
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude Code etc.) as part of daily workflows
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a collaborative engineering environment
- Ability to break down problems and ask good technical questions
- Good communication skills and comfort working in a cross-functional team
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Willingness to receive feedback and iterate on code and ideas
- Curiosity about software, product thinking, and modern AI/ML developments
