You should have experience in a Machine Learning (ML) library. On a daily basis you’ll be developing and deploying products that rely on machine learning models to improve clinical outcomes. In addition to strong technical know-how, core competencies that will help ensure your success in this role include team collaboration, adaptability, and innovative analytical and problem-solving skills.

Role and responsibilities

• Work with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and C++ to build production-grade machine learning (ML) models and products

• Perform continuous integration to ensure that every step of a ML pipeline is testable and automated.

• Document code, provide progress reports, and perform code review and peer feedback.

• Maintain datasets, product quality metrics, and track performance in production systems.

• Collaborate closely with Teladoc Health’s ML experts, Product Managers, and clinical researchers to define, analyze, and provide products that contribute to our mission.

• Continuously evaluate and identify improvements in the system processes and architecture.

• Participate in agile planning around data feature requests and advocate for the best ML engineering projects in priority planning.

Qualifications required

• 1+ years of experience in software development/engineering.

• 1+ years of experience in a Machine Learning Engineering role.

• Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning Algorithms (e.g. DNNs, RNNs, CNNs, Transformers, Diffusion)

• Development experience with leading Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras

• Knowledge of API programming with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or google Cloud

Qualifications preferred

• BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Knowledge of C++ programming

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL (Apache Spark, CosmosDB, etc) datastores
