Junior Software Engineer – Test Hub
- Support the development of a modern test automation tool by working with backend technologies.
- Contribute to a product used for testing web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Gain hands-on experience with technologies like C++, C#, Delphi, and Windows programming (WinAPI, COM), as well as GUI frameworks like DevExpress.

About the role
As a Junior Software Engineer on the Test Hub team, you’ll be joining a group of experienced engineers working on one of SmartBear’s core products. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in real-world projects while being mentored by senior developers.
You will:
- Work with C++ in a Windows environment.
- Learn and contribute to improvements in our test automation tools.
- Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams from across the globe.
- Learn best practices for clean, maintainable, and testable code.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 1–2 years of experience with C++ in software development.
- Has worked with or is eager to learn about Windows programming (WinAPI, COM, GUI frameworks).
- Is familiar with object-oriented programming concepts.
- Is open to learning legacy technologies like Delphi (still used in part of the product).
- Is enthusiastic about quality, clean code, and continuous learning.
- Communicates well in English (B2 or higher).
- Has a degree in Computer Science or a related field (or is currently finishing one).
