Our client, Oxley Limited, is seeking a proactive and results-driven Junior Sales Executive to support sales and customer engagement activities within the mining sector. The role focuses on managing relationships with mining clients, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting regional sales growth for mining chemicals and consumables. The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while contributing to overall team targets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining clients, processors, and distributors within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular customer site visits and provide product support where necessary.
- Identify new business opportunities and assist in expanding the regional customer base.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, and orders to ensure timely conversion and closure.
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely product delivery.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to management.
- Support debt collection follow-ups and ensure compliance with company credit policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales visits, enquiries, and activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, preferably in mining, industrial chemicals, or related industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident personality with good presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office and reporting tools).
- Previous experience working with mining or industrial customers is an added advantage.
